Laparoscopic Surgery for Minimal Pain & Scar
Gynecologic tumors are very common in many women. Laparoscopic surgery can simply remove troublesome tumors with the endoscope through small incisions as opposed to the larger incisions needed in laparotomy.
Procedure of Laparoscopic Surgery:
Also referred as minimally invasive surgery (MIS), Single Port Laparoscopic Surgery is a modern surgical technique that creates 1~2.5cm of a single incision on the lower abdomen to insert telescopic rod lens that is connected to a video camera for the surgeon to perform the surgery with a clear vision of a surgical site. Small incision dramatically reduces recovery time as well as possible post-surgery complications.

Pelvic Organ Prolapse
"Escape from Pelvic Organ Prolapse with Prolift Surgery"
What is Pelvic Organ Prolapse?
Aging and multiple births often causes excessive muscle relaxation and elastic tissue damages in women, which leads pelvic organs such as bladder, uterus, rectum and etc. to drop from its normal position and push against the walls of vaginal opening. Such condition is referred as Pelvic Organ Prolapse in medical term. Pelvic muscles of childbearing women can get damaged when a baby passes through vagina.
Symptoms of Pelvic Organ Prolapse
• Feeling a pull or stretch from pelvic organs pressing against the vaginal wall.
• Releasing urine without meaning to, or needing to urinate a lot.
• Having problems with your bowels, such as constipation.
• Having pain in your vagina during sex
Procedure of Prolift Surgery
In the past, prolapsed pelvic organs were treated with either vaginal gysterectomy or vaginal plasty. However, Prolift surgery is gradually become more popular these days. Prolift surgery fixates net shaped implant on pubis and ischial to support weakened pelvic muscles and reduce recurrence rate.
Duration of Treatment and Hospitalization
Prolift surgery is less painful and only takes half of operation time compared to previous method. The down time and recovery period is much shorter. Patients can be discharged from the hospital on the day after surgery and resume daily activities in 3~4 days, fully recovers in 2~3 weeks, and have sexual intercourse after 6 weeks.
Precautions:
• Avoid lifting heavy articles or strenuous exercise
• Be cautious of infection on the surgical site
• Rest well after the surgery
Result of Surgery:
• The result will be delivered in mail to your Hotel or by email
